Pairing procedure

To see your heart rate and other data from Suunto Smart Heart Rate Belt 2, pair the transmitter with a compatible Bluetooth host device, such as a Suunto watch, a bike computer or your phone. Here is how to pair it:

Step 1: Power on and start pairing

Put the heart rate belt on to power it on, then start pairing from the host device.

Step 2: Accept pairing request

Press the button on the transmitter for two seconds to accept the pairing request. The host is added to the known hosts list on Suunto Smart Heart Rate Belt 2.

Step 3: Confirm pairing

Suunto Smart Heart Rate Belt 2 appears as SHRM2 followed by the last four digits of its serial number. If several Bluetooth sensors are active nearby, check those digits against the serial number printed on the back of the transmitter. Once paired, the host shows the belt's battery level and the services available from it, if the host supports this.

Step 4: Pair additional hosts
