Like everybody else, I was hesitant to try bone conducting headphones. I was concerned that they wouldn't fit, that they would move or the controls would be difficult to maneuver while outside.Suunto is a very well-known Finnish company that makes high-end technical products. A lot of thought and design went into the consumer's users satisfaction with these Aqua Lite headphones.Right off the bat, I was very impressed with the packaging and the instructions. They've thought of everything and made it very easy to start using them right away. I wear glasses while exercising and I thought that would be a roadblock for wearing the bone conducting headphones. But it's not! They work great! What I particularly like about them is because they're not obstructing your ear canal, you can hear ambient sound. That is important. If you live in an urban area like I do where I am walking in or near traffic very often. I can clearly hear everything going on around me. I really appreciate that safety component of the bone conducting headphones.Well it took a little practice, the controls are intuitive and easy. You can answer phone calls, you can change tracks on music, you can pause an audiobook of your listening to it, you can repeat a track that you listen to... there are a myriad of users' options with these. Now to the sound quality. It's superb. I would think that with the music or audio not being directly in the ear canal that the quality just couldn't be as good. I was wrong. Because you're not listening through your ear canal, the sound is actually conducted straight through your ear bones. Very clever! There are lots of brands of these on the market with a variety of price points. Do you sell a favor and get these. I don't use them for swimming but the options to use them in a pool or in open water is astounding. You can actually download a playlist into the headphones and that will play while you're swimming. There's plenty of memory for a good size playlist and you don't have to worry about Bluetooth connectivity because it's downloaded into the headphones themselves! Pretty cool. Highly recommend.
